No food, beverages, coolers, pets, or laserswill be permitted in the fairgrounds. All purses and bags will be subject to a thorough search at the gate if the gate attendees feel it is a security risk.

 

 

Park Closing Due to Crowd Capacity

 

The decision to close the gates of Ribfest due to crowd density is the decision of the Town of Tillsonburg Police Department, Tillsonburg Fire Department in agreement with Ribfest leadership. The decision to close for public safety is based on the ability of our customers to get out of the fairgrounds in case of emergency. Crowd density is determined by examination of the flow of people within the fairgrounds. If all walkways remain open and clear and people can move around, the organizers will keep the gates open.

 

 

Park Closing Due to Inclement Weather

 

Ribfest works with local Weather stations to monitor the weather approaching. Ribfest will temporarily close during any period where our customer’s may be in danger.  All customers will be asked to exit the fairgrounds at that time.  When the Ribfest leadership along with the appropriate parties within the town of Tillsonburg decides it is safe to return, the fairgrounds will re-open.
